Nina Elizabeth Jørgensen:

I am endlessly fascinated by the human mind and the situations that push us over our emotional edge.

My artwork is reflective of the madness and irrational mind-states found within the corners of the world surrounding us. I like to communicate the unusual and the bizarre as well as the dreamy, the beautiful and the impossible.

I am influenced by various comic book illustrators as well as by the personal experiences acquired during my life, which has been dominated by constant relocations and the exposure to different cultures.

I am an art student studying fda Illustration at the University of Brighton based at Hastings College of Arts and Technology.

I studied Higher Level Visual Arts in English at the International School of Helsingborg as part of my International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Some illustrators that I enjoy:

Dave McKean

James Jean

Charles Vess

'Soft Landing' stop frame animation
They travel long, they travel short. Feathers of gloom, feathers of light, watch them live, watch them die. Out of taps, inside eggs: water was never this soft.
